Currently, Hareon Solar employs more than 6,000 employees globally. Hareon Solar manufactures silicon wafers, solar cells, and solar modules in six state-of-the-art factories in Jiangsu, Anhui, and Yunnan Provinces, with a total production capacity of 2 GW of ingot casting, wafers, cells, and modules annually. All 8 factories under Hareon Solar have been listed under Standard Conditions for PV Manufacturing Industry by China's MIIT. Hareon’s production capacity of crystalline silicon is ranked 7th in the world, and 3th in the country. Hareon Solar has subsidiaries in Germany, Hong Kong, the United States, Italy, Switzerland, Japan, Australia, India and South Africa. This global network allows Hareon to distribute our products, provide after-sales service, and develop new business opportunities in new and established markets around the world. Hareon Solar also has holdings in more than 120 project companies around the world.
Hareon Solar began its PV power-plants business in 2011 and has currently invested in more than 1.74 GW of solar power-plant projects via EPC, BT, and investment models. Of the total 1.74 GW, 0.85 GW are self-investment projects, 0.202 GW are of joint development projects, and 0.684 GW are EPC projects. Hareon Solar has successfully commissioned and grid-connected projects in 9 different countries, including the United States, England, India, and Japan. Within the twelve provinces of China, ground-mount and rooftop PV power plants have been constructed in Xinjiang, Gansu, Qinghai, Inner Mongolia, Yunnan, Hebei, and Jiangsu Province. After nearly six years of team building and accumulation of experience, Hareon has trained a team of project development specialists with the capability to develop several GW per year of project pipeline. The development of PV power plant is the core of the Company’s development strategy.
Hareon’s R&D Center has earned the “Engineering and Research Excellence” award by NDRC in 2011. It has two pilot lines as its R&D platform, and the PV testing center meets international standards of physical, chemical, and reliability requirements as supported by TUV, TMP, and CNAS. The R&D department adheres to a vertical integration strategy, focusing on the development and integration of technology with high quality silicon materials and high efficiency cells & modules. Additionally, the R&D department has completed the research and development of its fourth-generation multi-crystallization process, PID-resistant coating film, PERC cells & modules, black silicon cells & modules, and n-type double-sided cells & modules. To date, Hareon has engaged in dozens of research projects worldwide, including Project-863, and has applied for a grand total of 506 patents of which 288 were approved. Out of the 288 approved patents, 30 were for inventions. Furthermore, Hareon has consistently applied for more and more patents over the past five years and is now ranked among the forefront of PV enterprises in China.
Hareon’s international business management team consists of many members from eleven different countries, all of which possess outstanding academic backgrounds and working experience in Fortune 500 companies. Each and every member has worked in the PV industry for more than ten years and can be considered as elite talent in the industry. This team has experienced multiple industry cycles and is very familiar with the solar development phases. They all have an eye for international business and the capacity to leverage different resources, making them the core of Hareon’s development towards the future.
